Nestled along the North Umpqua River in Roseburg, Oregon, Cooper Ridge Vineyard is a family-owned winery where breathtaking views meet handcrafted estate wines. More than just a winery, we are an experience, a community, and a place where cherished memories are made and new friendships are formed.

How It All Began

Cooper Ridge Vineyard was established in 2008 with a passionate goal: to craft limited production, premium Oregon wines. What were once walnut orchards have now been transformed into thriving vineyards producing award-winning wines. In May 2015, the dream came to life with the opening of our tasting room, and since then we have welcomed guests from near and far to share in the magic of this place.

Owners Steve and Paula Wilson are originally from San Diego and have two children, Emily and Ben. They discovered the enchanting landscape and welcoming community of Roseburg on a summer visit while searching for the perfect winery to call their own. Steve's love for wine extended beyond the glass, leading him to pursue wine education and hands-on experience at local wineries. Paula, an educator, supported Steve's dream, which quickly became her own. Together, they embarked on this exciting journey, turning a shared passion into a cherished reality.

The Wines

Our portfolio of award-winning red wines includes Merlot, Syrah, Tempranillo, and Pinot Noir, along with Rioja style and Bordeaux style red blends. Our white wine portfolio features both Dry and Sweet Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Viognier, Chenin Blanc, White Pinot Noir, a Cuvée white blend, an unoaked Chardonnay, and a series of sparkling wines that are perfect for any occasion.

The Experience

Our tasting room and covered outdoor patio areas boast panoramic views of the Umpqua Valley and the surrounding mountains, offering a front-row seat to some of Southern Oregon's most stunning scenery. It is a serene and welcoming setting to savor exceptional wines while unwinding and connecting with the people you love.
