Our Story

Tucked in the heart of Southern Oregon, Cooper Ridge Vineyard was established in 2008 with a passionate goal: to craft limited production, premium Oregon wines. What once were walnut orchards has now transformed into thriving vineyards, producing award-winning Merlot, Viognier, Syrah, Tempranillo, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, and Pinot Noir.

In May 2015, the dream was realized with the opening of the Cooper Ridge Vineyard Tasting Room. Since then, it has become a beloved haven for the local community and visitors alike, offering a serene setting to savor exquisite wines while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the Umpqua Valley. It’s a place where cherished memories are made, and new friendships are formed.

Owners, Steve and Paula Wilson are originally from San Diego and have two children, Emily and Ben. They discovered the enchanting landscape and welcoming community of Roseburg on a summer visit searching for the perfect winery to call their own. Steve’s love for wine extended beyond the glass, leading him to pursue wine education and hands-on experience in local wineries. Paula, an educator, enthusiastically supported Steve’s dream, which quickly became her own. Together, they embarked on this exciting journey, turning a shared passion into a cherished reality.
