Our Docé Luxo is a blend of Tempranillo and Syrah grapes and is aged in small oak and whiskey barrels for 40+ months. This dessert wine has notes of cherry, nutmeg, and cinnamon spice. Flavors of caramel and chocolate coat the palate.

Fermentation:
When the residual sugars reach approximately 14%, the wine is removed from fermentor and fortified with brandy, up to a 20% alcohol. This alcohol concentration kills the yeast preserving the sweetness from the grapes.
